TRUMPF is investing approx. 15 million Euros to extend the Pasching facilities.

This will create a total of 11.200mē of new facillities for production and administration

Extensive construction work is currently in progress for the expansion of the TRUMPF Pasching location near Linz.

A brief outline of the history:
  • 5th March 2007: purchase of an approx. 28.000 m² piece of land to the south of the works.
  • 3rd May 2007: The Pasching district council sells the road to the south of the works to TRUMPF.
  • 19th June 2007: Mr. Kilian is present as the first spade breaks the ground. In the photo from left to right: Dipl. Ing. Thomas Saiko, Dipl. Ing. Armin Rau, Mr. Gerhard Resch, Dipl. Ing. Friedrich Kilian and Dr. Alfred Hutterer.
  • 26th June 2007: permission is received for the planned expansion during negotiations with official construction and trade representatives.

There are no hitches in the quick demolition of the office and sanitary areas to the south and west of the actual shop building and work can be commenced immediately on the foundations.

The actual extent of the expansion can be seen clearly in the photo.

In the course of the works expansion, the office wing will be extended and expanded to two-storeys.

The demonstration centre will be removed from the production shop and production will be expanded by two shop wings. The canteen will be located in the centre somewhat higher than the rest of the building.

A total of 11.200m² of new work space is now undergoing construction, with some 7.300m² being allocated for production, 1.381m² for ancillary and utility rooms, 1.967m² for offices and the canteen and 565m² for the demonstration centre.

Meanwhile the new hall 6 - the new bending tool production area - is being finished off, bending tool production is already running at full capacity. BendMaster assembly has moved into hall 7 of the new building. The preparations for the new production line are in full swing. Hall 1, the former bending tool production area, is currently being renovated.

The first few offices have already been relocated to the new premises and the next relocations are following one after the other.

All other outstanding work should be completed in the summer.
