During the award ceremony at the beginning of May, Head of Sales Manfred Schrammel praised the reliability and good service provided by TRUMPF: "We can place our full trust in the laser systems from Ditzingen." And Welser has several of them – from several TLF 4000 and TLF 12000 lasers to a TRUMPF Lasercell 105. The product development collaboration with TRUMPF also functions extremely well, as Plant Manager Walter Hintersteiner emphasizes.
With around 1,800 employees, Welser is the largest European manufacturer of cold-formed special profiles. The company, whose headquarters is in Ybbsitz, Austria, processes 400,000 tonnes of sheet in its 50 profile rolling mills. Additional cutting and welding projects are planned. Because a plant with an 87,000 m2 production area is currently being built in Bönen, Germany.
Dr. Alfred Hutterer thanked Welser for placing its trust in TRUMPF and views receiving the coveted supplier prize as an obligation to devote even more time and effort to Welser in the future.
